The Reactor is the power source for all human structures in a map. There may only be one Reactor, and it must be present before any structures other than Repeaters can be built. If the Reactor is destroyed then all structures besides Telenodes cease to function. Jetpacks also cease to function in the absence of an active Reactor. The Reactor has a limited amount of power which is distributed among every other structure built, each having its own cost. Having a limited range in which in can distribute power, Repeaters are used to extend power to areas which are not covered by the Reactor range.
