The Battle Suit provides a significant defensive boost to the wearer’s entire body. Due to this coverage, the Battle Suit may not be used in conjunction with any other wearable upgrades (Light Armour, Helmet, Battery Pack, and Jet Pack).
Other benefits of wearing a Battle Suit include:
- Immunity to the gas that Advanced Basilisks spray.
- Immunity to the Basilisk grab.
- Users wearing a Battle Suit do not experience Chaingun kickback.
Unfortunately, this comes with a price: lack of mobility and stealth. You cannot fit in some areas as easily while wearing a Battle Suit, nor can you crouch. The Battle Suit makes a loud thumping noise when moving, so it's rather hard not to let the aliens know you're coming unless you use the speed command to walk.
