Just like the first few pages of that topic where people actually offered opinions/reasons on who they thought were the top 5 clans

Well in the last topic people shared who their Top 5 lists and had some intellectual discussions about said lists, so if that can happen here minus the spams and flames it might even stay unlocked

I dis-agree with you, in that thread nobody flamed or bitch and actually had a mature (or, at least as far as mature gets...) discussion about their top 5 clans. What happened here that prevented the forums from doing so now? 

Well, I'm not sure par say what is the best clan. I can't give a straight answer because it really depends on what kind of best you were looking for.

However, this was more fun before because there were more clans. Nowadays, there's hardly any to choose from, so I imagine most players' choices (including my own) would include:

AoD
NT
OPP
vR

Wrong.  Yahoo is still around.  They have enough active to scrim.

Ozzy's list is American by the way (and a good list too). Euros, feel free to post lists as well. We can't really mix the two.

edit: I was reading the old thread, and must say, OPP was really relatively unknown back then, and now they are pretty much an auto-include on the American list.

American by scrims/activity and yeah..

1)NT - Can scrim on practically every map/has a plan. Great TW/good players
2)AA - Work on other maps but if you play them on a map they know, they own
3)vR - Can't say anything about us
4)AoD - Just remade, looking good

If OPP Came back they would be in their somewhere I just woke up so don't blame me if i forgot a clan

Some of them are very nice (Whinze, Elaum, Bidubida...) but some others contribut a lot to the bad reputation of the wwF* clan.

And they always use the same tactic (typical (CY) argument, sorry ).

From what I've seen, (eVo) would not be the top of the list.  Any American clan they've scrimmed has been a lagged match, and they refuse to play unlagged.  Most Americans never really play lagged, except for those scrims with eVo.  The fact that those scrims are either extremely close, or end in an eVo loss just means that they are not only less versatile than the clan they are playing, but also that they would be slaughtered if an American clan could play them on their home turf (ei: standard American settings).

Actually, you can't compare them by those presumptions still. And pretty much never will be able to compare Euro and U.S. clans on a "who's best" scale.

Also, we HAVE scrimmed eVo at their server with unlagged on. The ping still hurts a shitload and was a pain in the ass to play with even with unlagged, which is why we only scrim Euro clans on their server, generally. Would prefer that we don't go selfish and try to prove something that they obviously know themselves, and that we take that fall over them at our server.

However, we will often freely scrim Euro clans at their servers without unlagged. However, we were recently told, after a scrim, "sorry your pings are too high for us. bye," despite them having the advantage. Well, I'll never know where that came from. But the way it is now is the way it'll probably be until everyone stops playing Trem.

So sure, go ahead and list Euro and U.S. clans together, but no overall comparison can be true when you do so.

You guys leaving AA out makes my tummy do some weird jump. The big Y's still kick major ass, and bailey, volt, doogie, hibby are all people I'd stick in my AoD starting roster in a second if given the chance.

This is my list, that's what I think. You're arguing now about personal preferences. Make your own list.

We played few games vs vR and NT on American Servers and we won both of them. If you haven't seen any of these games then stfu. I still think (eVo) and NT are the best Euro/US clans.

Yes and why they refuse to play unlagged on? Bcuz of no skill? ;p
Unlagged off is for skillers. Europeans stopped to play with unlagged since 2007. Its time that american should do it too

I spected a lot of their games and i am very active on their forum. (eVo) played a lot of games vs american clans. In the past (eVo) scrimmed only on american servers, with your lovely unlagged on. E. g. : MoW, OPP, olz, Fu:, Null, AA, vR, ...balls (or how they were called) etc... and (eVo) won all rounds (with your rules and settings)

Oh yea and about the thingy with american settings. Yea they are really great: Unlagged on (lul fake skill), reactor jump on (lul how skilled), share on (lul camp in base, take camper evos, share to get goon after 2mins without any kill), sd mode 2 (lul no comment), sd 45 tl 60 (lul no comment2)....


So please stop bitching around. The fact is:

1. (eVo) and NT| (Dont want to compare those 2 clans, allthough (eVo) beat NT on their server)

Some clans do better with some settings, others do better with other settings. Don't compare the settings, that's off-topic. Just compare clans which play in similar settings.

Er, I think the unlagged vs lagged issue should be taken to another thread before flames erupt and this thread get locked (again). I still don't think you can really compare Euro and American clans.

Btw, what happened to HUN and CY anyway?
