So, you have arrived to this board because you have a problem with Tremulous. Smart move, since this is the perfect place to get your problem solved. If you follow these guidelines, we am sure your troubleshooting request will be dealt with in a proper manner.

Before posting:

1: Read the FAQ. People have spent time writing it, you can show respect by taking the time to read it.

2: Use the Search function to see if you can find any information about your problem.

3: If you fail at using the Search function, at least take some time to look around on this board to see if your problem bas been dealt with before.

While posting:

4: Write an informative post, with an informative subject line (not "HALP PLZ"), providing as much information as you can about your problem, your computer and the situation in which the problem occurred. Explain what steps you have undertaken while trying to solve the problem yourself. Do not be shy to give out information, it's better to give too much information than too little which will only annoy people, since they have to ask you questions. And since this is your problem, you should be the one asking the questions.

5: Read your post over before actually posting it. This will mostly sort out any errors you might have overlooked while writing.

6: Be patient and do not bump your post. People here only help you with your problem out of free will, spending their free time on you. While most people here are very willing to help you out, they also are very willing to ignore you and your problem if you come across as an impatient twat.

If your problem is solved:

7: If your problem is solved, please modify the title of your post to reflect this. Adding [SOLVED] to the title will do just fine.

8: Thank the person or people who helped you out. A word of thanks goes a long way, and creates willingness to help out in the future.

9: Play Tremulous!

Good luck with your problems, we hope they are resolved soon.
