Humph. Why does Tremulous include a Game.qvm in the tremulous install and not have to d/l it as a third party tingy like tremded?

Exactly. If I replaced it with a modded qvm (Amine's bot qvm) it should work for local games, correct?

no, your client would crash because that game.qvm has svn syscalls.
