Riton - Hammer of Thor (Gabriel and Dresden Re-edit) and Deep Flexion - Emotions of the Night (Trent Cantrelle's Motion in NoHo Mix) on loop for the past five hours. I've got a lot of code done while listening to these two songs. Must be the beat. ;]

Both are off Gabriel and Dresden - Sensation White 2007 album, a VERY good one I must say

Code:
Tracklist:
01. Gabriel & Dresden - Eleven (Extended Mix) (5:42)
02. Hugg & Pepp - Snabeln (5:32)
03. Monoroom - Memory Inc. (Gui Boratto Remix) (5:36)
04. Gabriel & Dresden feat. Jan Burton - Dangerous Power (Christopher Norman Remix) (6:34)
05. Gabriel & Dresden - Arcadia (Arcadia Is What You Want Mix) (8:30)
06. Riton - Hammer Of Thor (Gabriel & Dresden Re-Edit) (4:01)
07. Gabriel & Dresden feat. Molly Bancroft - Tracking Treasure Down (Wippenberg's 128 Mix) (8:13)
08. Deep Flexion - Emotions Of The Night (Trent Cantrelle's Motion In NoHo Mix) (5:55)
09. Aaron McClelland - Spirit (6:23)
10. Christopher Norman - Going Down (7:17)
11. Julian Jewel - Air Conditionne (5:05)
12. Josh Gabriel - Summit (5:47)

Wow. King Crimson. You have definite taste in music.

I think my favorite King Crimson song would have to be "Red", or "In The Court Of The Crimson King".

Unreal - "Main Theme"

Still gives me goosebumps, ten years later. That was a really great game. Good music, nice graphics, lotsa user mods. My first PC game ever. -snif-

"Vortex Rikers" just started. I'd love to stay and talk, but a ceiling beam nearly crushed me, and I simply must find a blaster.

Mmm, I have the entire Unreal Anthology's soundtrack on my iTunes... thought I was the only guy fruity enough to do it, too.

It's nice to know I'm not alone. Wink

Let's give that stack of CDs from the library a spin, shall we?

ToaD - "Not Meant to Be"

Pretty meh, in a commercial, post-Creed, Bush-must-be-in-office, PoM/Godsmack, hard rock/semi-metal, VH1/CMT way.

Ah, random play: what's next?

Opeth - "Hex Omega"

So much better. Thank you to yahoo for the recommendation. Also got Isis, the Mekons and of course some old man music (King Crimson and Yes).

And now for our next track:

The Mekons - "Johnny Miner"

A friend of mine, who likes Stiff Little Fingers, the Plimsouls, and Big Country, would really enjoy this. Not exactly my cup of tea, but not terrible.

ToaD - "Got it Made"

I like it better, but it's got a Linkin Park-esque MTV thing that I'm still not convinced by. Sounds like a summertime record. It's grey and gloomy here. Wrong mood. Maybe I'll listen to this again around July. Sounds like car music. Blessedly concise, at least.

The Mekons - "Memphis Egypt"

Noisy experimental punk. Anybody besides me remember the Lemondrops, Pere Ubu, Die Kreuzen, Racer X? Reminds me of that. Yeah, my buddy must listen to these guys. If he don't, he should.

Isis - Not in Rivers, But in Drops

I like it. Very prog, yet also stoner/sludge/ambient/metal-ish. Reminds me of King Crimson, a wee bit. Again, thanks yahoo.

@Kaleo: Still checking out the links that you posted. Nile and Bolt Thrower are both growing on me.

If you're looking into getting a Nile album, I would reccomend starting with either Annihilation Of The Wicked, In Their Darkened Shrines or Ithyphallic.

Love that album. Played the crap out of it last fall/summer-ish.

Along with the album Head Off by the Hellacopters.
