Have the developers given up? I think Tremulous could regain it's player base if the developers released a new version every few months. Not just bug fixes, but new content. Obviously, I am sounding demanding, but if fresh meat to join the development team and contribute to the game, the player base might be saved. Tremulous is a unique game and I don't believe it should continue down the same road it's currently on.

Right now, Trem seems to be fading out a bit. Maybe someone will revive it, but IDK, not holding my breath, got tired of being purple doing that.

I hear this a lot. If some people know trem through mod gaming sites, at least more than 50% of those would know about NS. Theres atcs on NS apparently i hear.  Surely your 'summer holidays' in the northen hemisphere did a greaaaaat job there. |

Our aussie holidays make a significant change, but only to our region. Everywhere else kinda stays the same.
An evidence is that aussie assault had quite a number of players this winter holidays, but now its pretty much empty 20 hours a day.
