So I've decided to make a Tremulous mod a while ago based on a friend called FOE (Foe of Eternity, in this case Foes).

Here is a S.S:

I took a video but it ended up being corrupt.

Going to add hands, scope, and clip. Looking for someone to animate reloading, and someone else to uv map, and make the textures while I make the models.

Looking pretty good there, but there's a few things I'd like to point out.

  • There's no dot in the red dot sight, which I suppose isn't that big of a deal
  • There are both iron sights and a red dot sight. I would personally prefer to have only iron sights, as the action sight is very bulky for being non-functional.
  • The rifle feels very long and skinny, which may be positioning and FoV.
  • The texturing is a little dull; literally just doubling the size of the texture and adding noise could make it look much more metal-like, along with a few scratches here and there.
  • The front grip has potential to look very awkward when you have the hands there. I guess that's just going to have to be one of those things that you see when it happens.
Other than that though, very well done. The geometry stays very true to form of real rifles and would look very good with just some fine tuning.

Keep going on it!

Those are firing modes, as far as I can tell.

It's an EOTech if you haven't spotted yet.

I think digital sights make guns look "epic" as most guns when they have digital sights, backup sights, underbarrel grenade launchers, foldable buttstock, silencers... well you get my point, but however you have your truth there - it's a bit bulky for being non-functional. Oh, and EOTech sights needs a railing for it to be attached, in this case it looks like it has no rail at all.

  • The texturing is a little dull; literally just doubling the size of the texture and adding noise could make it look much more metal-like, along with a few scratches here and there.
Agreed.
