Position of Models
«

Where would the position of models be located in the source code? My rifle model is too far out left.
Thanks,
Shogan

weapons are attached to tags
you should position the tag(dunno the name it is tag_something IIRC) to the handle

what are you trying to do?
did you make a new weapon model?
or
are you trying to reposition an existing model?

I'm making a new weapon model and replacing an existing model (rifle).

Wasn't intending on it to be a SCAR-H but if you want you can call it one. *WITH HOLOGRAPHIC SCOPE* I had to recompile the Tremulous Client to get it to work.

Move the model relative to it's origin?
And if you had to recompile your client, it's not going to work for anyone else.

Thanks, with what you said in Blender I changed to edit mode and moved it a reasonable distance from the center point and got it working. Thank You for all your help. I'll release a S.S. soon.

Sorry for bump. I'm stuck, I have multiple models and I want them to be drawn at the same time. What would I add into the cfg to draw multiple models?

That can be solved fairly easily I think.

The picture doesn't look too bad that way...

Just becacuse it is related, i was thinking Tremulous should have a 1.5x zoom on most weapons including rifle, where the first person view changes slightly so you actually view through the scope?

Sone servers have zoom like the KoRx Mdriver and most weapons in the zombie mod.
Since the rifle and other guns don't have a secondary attack, it may seem cool to add an ADS for rifle, lasgun and such.

these are stupid suggestions, don't even waste our time.
I don't like your negative attitude.
