Improvements for Tremoulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear tremoulous, i recently cam up with new ideas for trem 1.3 first i would like to get through the aliens.
New alien: mantis, has an abillity to claw grasp an enemy, crawl on walls and blend into any place
New alien: cortesalisk, petrifies its victims by launching an attack called dismentle , can use suffocate
New alien: Swarmer, like a swarm of ants they traval in packs and have a habit of completly distroying outpost can also fly
New alien: Crawler, a walking om that gives creep in one area, advanced crawlers have an acid defense system
New alien: overseer, can look through walls and point out enemy defenses can upgrade to have vision for the dark, can also fly
New abillity: grangers can burrow using f3 to burrow when burrowed only lucifer and gernade weapons can kill them
New abillity: advanced marauders can now steal the points of enemy players
New abillity: structures can burrow when a granger presses f5
Now these are my ideas the art concepts of the aliens will be realeased later with audio files the humans get...
New feature: humans now have attack buggies and motorcycles
New gun:Hivemind eradicater, this weapon creates a gas that makes any near by aliens die instantly defenses will destroy each other
New feature: humans now have powerd battlesuits this offers triple the protection compared to a regular bsuit
New buiding:sentry gun, in addition to defense these minigun tripod turrets fire a long range severley damageing enemies
New upgrade: ocular implanting, you will be able to use nightvision, thermal and normal visoin x2.
New building: creep repeller, prevents aliens from building bases to close.
New unit: a MCu moble construction unit will be able to fly,like the crawler
The humans will have thier photos and audio files ready later
Both team benifets:
-spawns make poision/electricity when enemies get to close, this is to prevent spawncamping
-boster and medis heal 3x faster
-om and rc have 50+ hp
-players can comstomize the colors of their alien/human/unit or otherwise.

Sounds like the Invisi-lisk. Basically basilisk that's partially transparent. I believe X server uses it

Dismantle is kind of cool name for something, although I don't understand what it is.. What is suffocate? How would it look when you're suffocating someone, and how does it look to the person being suffocated?

There's been some progress in coding in a flying alien type as of late, but this sounds overly-complex to begin with. How does swarmer attack? How do you kill swarmer?
New alien: Crawler, a walking om that gives creep in one area, advanced crawlers have an acid defense system
I kind of like this idea, but only if it was a non-player that's loyal to Granger (like an acid shooting creep-giving alien puppy)
New alien: overseer, can look through walls and point out enemy defenses can upgrade to have vision for the dark, can also fly
This just seems like a bad idea. It's the equivalent of a spectator 'ghosting' by telling one of the teams what's going on. Usually specs who are ghosting get kicked with the quickness. It's bad because A) it wouldnt be fun to play B) it doesn't really add anything to the game C) looking through walls equates to cheating, in some people's opinions.
New abillity: grangers can burrow using f3 to burrow when burrowed only lucifer and gernade weapons can kill them
I like the idea of a burrowing class. Making it not look not too silly would be tough tho (not too tough, just probably will need many tests). I'd recommend not allowing burrowing into non-flat surfaces, also figure out where else you should not be able to burrow.
New abillity: advanced marauders can now steal the points of enemy players
A thief mara might be fun, as long as it didn't take too many credits per hit...assuming it steals credits on a per-hit-basis and not by killing the player. Also, if a human kills it, that human should get some of the credits it had stolen + regular credits for killing the mara.
New abillity: structures can burrow when a granger presses f5
This is not a good idea as is, you need to expand WHY you'd want the structures to burrow.. to hide them? To suddenly leave your base with no defense? what and why?

well the overseer should be changed to just see the rc and nodes
structures burrow to hide them
grangers should only burrow at the bottom of a map
cortalisk's animation for soffacate would be wrapping around the body dismantle makes eyes glow gold yellow killing target instantly
mara steal 50 creds per hit (1 half of an evos)
these changes should help!!!
also the diffrence with mantis is that its claw grsp does damage!

I'm personally pretty sure you aren't trying to be a dick or a troll, but you just are fairly uneducated about game development. It's not a bad thing on its own. In fact, it's a good thing if you are honestly interested in trying to improve a game, and Tremulous is a great game to try to improve (because it is open source).
Now, if all you want to do is just throw out ideas off the top of your head without thinking about them, you are probably better off finding someone or some group of people (real life, or in game, on irc, or such) that you can toss ideas around for fun. That's fine. The forums probably aren't the best place for this. (You have already noticed it won't be extremely appreciated.) This is because of two things: 1. if you didn't put thought into it, why should anybody put in the effort to put thought into considering your ideas? and 2. if you didn't put thought into it, its more likely than not a pretty bad idea.
But if you really want to present some ideas to help the community and game, try these steps: First, consider the idea that more is not necessarily better. In fact, while adding variety to somethings (more weapons or classes for example) may, in a vacuum be more interesting, over complicating a game is usually a bad thing, and a straightforward and easy to use and understand system is probably preferable. Too much cluttering and jamming-in of ideas will probably make a game worse. So if you do want to introduce a new item/class/weapon/etc, consider it having two possible positive outcomes: 1. It (probably replaces) and improves upon an existing thing, or, 2. introduces something completely new to the game, which benefits Tremulous from its new aspect. If you have what you think is a great idea, think to yourself, "does this significantly improve the game, i.e. make it more fun, more balanced, easier to understand, and is it unique?" AKA, think to yourself "what is the point of adding this?" critically and seriously, and if you can really answer it, propose it.
Some examples:

Here is another one to add "WHY?" too, but on top of that, think of how unfair and/or unfun this would be. If a tyrant could heal back to full health in two or so seconds after being almost dead just by being near a booster, think of how hard he would be to kill.

I hadn't spotted this one before, and make me more seriously consider the fact that you are trolling. This is because even if you were the highest you have ever been, I don't see how this would make sense to you. Besides the fact that obviously this is nowhere NEAR fair, think about the fun aspect. This is not a single player game. How would you like saving up for a tyrant and than being instantly killed by some dude with a fancy weapon?
If you can think of good ideas which add tangible benefits, keep or improve (hopefully improve) the level of "fun," add something
new
and keep or improve the balance, than post that idea, with your explanation of all those positives, along with possible negatives and a general description.
Here's a better idea though. Instead of brainstorming wild ideas and hoping something fits, try thinking about what problems you see in the game, and than coming up with solutions that address and fix those problems. If you want to make a new post, detail your analysis of the flaw(s) you see, and how your change helps to fix that flaw, along with the other things I mentioned in the section right above. This, plus correct spelling, grammar, and a readable and cohesive layout and arrangement of ideas will get you moving on the road to being respected and maybe helping improve Tremulous!
If you do want to improve Tremulous, I hope you find some of this useful, and will use it to contribute in the future.
If you are a troll, fuck off (no insults if you aren't though) and hopefully someone legitimate will find this post helpful.
Honestly though, what I think will happen is this: You are probably some kid who likes tremulous, likes Call of Duty, wants to combine the best of his favorite things to make an uber-game, and didn't realize the actual outcomes of this. You will be put off and a bit intimidated by the sheer amount of work it takes just to create a
proposal
for a new idea, let alone getting it created, implemented, and accepted, and will disappear from the feedback and idea palace sections. Or related to this, maybe just keep posting crazy ideas.
Anyways, that was kind of a long ramble, I hope you aren't discouraged, and hopefully you and others come to appreciate and learn a little bit about a little bit of theories of gameplay-modding.

well mooseberry said to take problems that are in the game, so i though and i got 2 idea that solve grievances for both teams. When your a builder, you build a bright and shiny base and then an adv goon comes and snipes the crap out of it, well how about a one at a time energy shield that convers a area and stops all barbs and spit,but aliens can still go through. When humans dig down deep and camp forever just repairing the base while there Tesla keeps zapping your teammates, what about a aliens build-able that slowly damages human buildings.

Thinking up a pair of gimmicks that, in your mind, balance each other out seems pretty redundant. Why give the humans a snipe shield if you're concerned that they might use it when camping, why give aliens a structure to cause damage to a base when you could just not give the humans that snipe shield?
