Hey guys, since I felt that the HUDs already out there didn't completely cut it, and I just felt like screwing around, I made/customized my own HUD. It's nothing much, but I like it and a couple of my friends do too so here we are...
It's a modified version of Superpie's Tweaked HUD (Mid design that I don't think too many ppl know about) with a stamina bar near the crosshairs, an easier to read inventory, a red dot sight, and a color changing crosshair. The goon barbs are also positioned so that the middle one works as a lob crosshair. Read the README for the commands.

Notice the red warning light that comes up when stamina gets low. Also, look at the color of the crosshair. That is changable by the command "hud_CrossColor <1-4>"

This is the alternate design activated by the command "hud_staminaElevation 2"

...Wow... This middle version has been "released" for a lot longer than the NN hud's middle version... In a sense we just both copied whoever invented the middle version... Mine looked like this before yours did. Maybe I put this one on the Trem official forums after you had yours in the NN private, but this identical HUD has been on the Du forum for weeks.
Also, when I made this HUD, the NN hud looked COMPLETELY different.
Plus the alien HUDs dont look the same at all, different setup and everything. I just didn't put up a screenshot because it is almost stock superpie.

................. You TOOK the code for the energy bar, with NO thanks to either NN or Me. You TOOK the code from superpie's HUD, without any thanks to him. It may be fair use, but you NEED to give CREDIT.

Notice the README in the file. And I did have to learn somewhere. I didn't just copy-paste. I messed with the values to see what they did, and then did it all myself as an experiment. There IS credit in the readme. I mean, I really don't care if this is online on the Tremulous website. I guess I could take it off the Trem site. I'm going to leave it on the Du though if i do.

Okay. Well before you kicked me out of NN for "copying" the hud, I managed to grab V3.0 of the NN HUD. These are screenshots comparing mine and theirs. They are meant to show that this was NOT a straight copy paste recolor from his to mine. The decoration is a DIRECT copy paste of Superpie's, which I believe I make sufficiently clear in the read me.The first one is my/Superpie's alien HUD compared to the NN, which is the next down.
The next two are the NN human HUDs (different versions.) the first one is the one that was the newest when I made my HUD. The second was actually released AFTER mine, and it is the "copy, paste, recolor" they were complaining about... Remember, mine came first... And I'm not gonna blame them for copieng me because I copied Superpie in the first place. So jump off a cliff. Point made yet?

Meh. Unless you released a new version in the last 12 hours of the night, it is. So shut up. Now all you gotta do is say the words "I do not want you to release any part of my HUD to the public" and then I will either take down the download or change it to a pie chart or something.

And Reapd, if this isn't your NN hud, then how about I post a download to it right here? Is that okay?

And c4, I don't get the reference, but if it has anything to do with copying, stfu, I have already proved that it wasnt' copied.

Let it be known that this thread is sceduled to be deleted not because I copied and feel guilty (I didn't, again), but I feel that it's not worth having the NN trolls shitting my reputation over something that at max 10 people will download. I still say that the NN members flaming me are trollers and have no right to complain about my HUD, but they are, and considering I have the ability to ban them on the Du forum, I will continue to host this HUD there, if anyone likes anything about it. And before you go raging about credit and how I just clamed someone else's HUD, READ MY README!! So fuck off of me, NN trollers, and someone delete this topic!

Hrm, wish I had grabbed this in time. Does someone care to post the code for the stamina bar? I was pretty sure that wasn't possible and that could prove to be very useful to me in the near future, and not just for the nicer display of stamina. Unless it is not actually a bar, which on second look, it appears to not be.

It's sort of a bar... It isn't as fluid as the charge bar, but it does decrease as teh stamina runs out. In the middle of a fight, it works just like a bar. If you still want it, I can direct you to teh site where I keep it so that annoying idiots can't bash it.
