Okay I've been playing Tremulous for about a week now and I've had a problems going between games on a server.  It either freezes on the loading screen.  Or loads and says something like: A reliable command has been cycled out.

Anyone else have this problem?  Is there anyway to fix it?

Same thing happens to me, I like to just disconnect before a game switch and wait a bit before I rejoin the server.

when tremulous loads the map and shows the pointer but doesn't go into the game, you can drop down the console (press ~) and type \reconnect to load the map again, usually this will fix it. the other option is to install tjw's client, which fixes that bug and many others. the 'a reliable server command was cycled out' is a bug in the server code, there are 3 things that you can do about it: 1) just live with it and reconnect, you shouldn't have any trouble reconnecting if you install tjw's client, 2) don't play on big servers, the bug rarely manifests itself when there are less than 20 people on the server, and 3) try to play on servers running tjw's server, which makes that bug a lot less likely to happen, but unfortunately doesn't manage to fix it.

i wrote the link wrong the first time i posted it, i just fixed it. all servers running tjw's code will respond to the command !admintest in chat (they should probably say that you are a level 0 admin), but i think a couple of other patches do that too(and i think they fix the bug also).
