Age has nothing to do with maturity.  Yes, older people tend to be more mature, but it's not always the case.  You are a good example.  Obviously, superpie still has admin for a reason, and whether it's unbeknownced to you or not, you need to back up your statements with proof.  If he's really pissing you and your clam off so much, look towards yourself first and figure out if you or your entire clam does something that can be looked on badly.

ok theres a lot to reply to. first im going to address the age issue. an older person doesnt mean that they are more mature than a younger person, but in this case it does. superpie has proven that he is immature and hes is 12 years old-not exactly in-between adult and child. undeference i undertsnad where your coming from on some points but im going to have to contradict you. he had numerous infractions-but its not so much his infractions as it is his idea that hes never wrong. if someone tells him hes wrong, he will kick them. the votes (plural) he cancelled were both legitimate, which is why i called him on abuse. For your first comment-Superpie has been playing everyday. i think that having so many people complain about him is enough evidence that he is abusing. I'm not asking for lvl4 but i dont see why he has it and many other responsible players dont. Developers, your job is to make the game better, demoting superpie is one way to do it. make the right choice.

I can only assume that he blocked the kicking of a repeat basenader on multiple occasions, considering the amount of fuss you're making about it. Not that this is going to happen but i'm curious, since you're so convinced that superpie's basically evil and that his demotion is the only way to save tremulous and its players from tyranny, would you be happy to have your admin level revoked if it meant superpie being demoted?

On maturity:
Mature in general means you have to provide for yourself, your home and/or your family,
it is all about responsibility. In general, I don't consider  anyone who hasn't seen
the real (job-) life for a few years as particulary mature. I know some people who
disagreed on this, until they got a job themselves.

On admin:
Throughtout the years I've been playing trem, I usually played on servers where I had
a high admin level or rcon access. The truth is, beeing an admin usually sucks.
I'd rather concentrate on the game than on the petty grievances of the users. Having
an admin is the easiest way to protect yourself from idiocies like groups cleaning the server
with vote-kicks, constant map changes (you know where someone joins and immediatly
callvotes map atcs)

Bottom line, I have admin so I can play in peace. The facts that
my greatest annoyances are usually against the rules anyway and
that admin-ing keeps the server playable, are a nice bonus.

People like to point to the rules to identify infractions and punish the one responsible
but few people realize that the rules are mostly guidelines, and the rules are there
in the first place because there are a lot of people who don't seem to know how
to behave themselves on a public game server. Some people will test the borders
of the rules, some admins might get annoyed, the rules might get changed and the
game starts all over again.

Neither Fun-Zone, nor SatGNU, the largest servers I played on had any real rules.
Fun-Zone was a 'fun' place, players acted like it and we usually didn't have any problems.
SatGNU had Lava_Croft, and we usually didn't have any problems.

The facts:
I played a lot on US1 yesterday, and the only player who actually annoyed me
was Abe complaining about superpie. I had to ask him several times to stop it.
So, for me, superpie is not the problem (I've seen him exactly once on US1).

My point of view:
Superpie might have done something stupid, I don't know, I wasn't there.
Abe was whining, I saw it with my own eyes, had to ask im to stop, had to remove a forum a post etc.

This drama thread has been quite entertaining so far (that's why I haven't deleted nor locked it),
but if the drama demands that I have to spend extra time to clean up the mess, I'll bill the hours to
the one causing it.

Rule-of-thumb: if the complaints costs more energy then the infraction, it isn't worth wasting my time on.

people are starting to come out of the woodwork to tell us your history of threatening behaviour as an admin, as for admitting to mistakes, you don't appear overly skilled in this field yourself.

So you don't remember the details of his horrendous crimes, yet you still maintain that they were severe enough to warrant his immediate demotion, but this demotion isn't something you care enough about to give up your power on the server, if that's what it would take? Surely you only made this fuss for the greater good, i'm confused.
You are correct, i'm afraid that i don't know the reason, you continually fail to explain it to me, maybe you need to use shorter words and less complex english, since i can't imagine there's any other explanation for my failure to grasp it.

You threaten me by saying I'm on this ice because I give you C&C about your terrible bases.  Stop whining and go play the game.  You aren't the only admin on the server, and that's the way it will always be.   You aren't in anyway special.  You, like most every other GT with admin, begged for it until the devs got fed up and gave it to you.

I am not accusing you of admin abuse nor am I pleading for your demotion, I was merely annoyed by the fact that this 'minor incident'
has totally been blown out of proportion, to the extend that it started to disturb gameplay on US1.
I just think it doesn't deserve this much attention, there are far more important issues to take care of.

this isnt a minor incident, hes been abusing admin for a long time. i got my admin from a fellow GT, i didnt beg a dev. im just like every other player, just one with certain privileges to help the game. for example, i kicked someone today who base killed all the eggs and the om. do i like to kick? no. but i do it for the good of the other players who play fair. C4, i know i said you were on thin ice, i remember that, but i never kick someone if theyre insulting me. i might have muted you at most because we should never be disrespectful to anyone. I think that a compromise can be made here by making superpie a lvl2, he'll still have some admin powers but he wont be able to abuse it.
