I get 14d ban yesterday on official US server of Tremulous gpp for this joke, but at least it made me lol

he wasn't an aimbotter just some noob who thought it would be funny to make a bind that mimics a certain aimbot message pointing to some other(possibly unpleasant no way im checking) site now an admin didn't find it too funny(cant blame him for that) and instead of accepting the ban he went to irc and annoyed Khalsa who wasn't too impressed with someone claiming to be botting wanting an unban and made a ban on forums and now he is ban evading on the forums

He didn't advertise an aimbot and the website address is enough of a reason not to visit it (to all those capable of reading and thinking). It a 2 week ban for a joke. Oh and a forum AND irc ban. And a lack of capability to properly deal with an unban request. At the same time the forum is getting closer and closer to a Tremulous branded shithole.

read the irc log provided the players on irc prob thought he was actually botting because of how he was appealing. the joke wasn't funny a mute would have prob been enough but an admin can use their own judgment and warlock decided that he needed a ban for whatever reason(maybe he was doing it game after game and warlock had already tried a mute) doesn't matter anyway because he has turned a simple ban for a bad joke into something way worse by ban evading on the forums

I don't know enough about aimbot sites to know that isn't a valid address, tbh, I'd probably have banned you too. Going on IRC makes sense, but you needed to stress that it was a joke. While I can see how it looked like a joke to you, I can also see how khalsa took it seriously. Anyways I believe having two accounts is enough to get you banned on the forums (although I have no clue, and it probably isn't enforced much, like everything else here), which then gets you banned for IRC. The address, if it is indeed a joke, probably means it wouldn't be a horrible thing to unban you from US1, but I doubt anything is going to happen on that since a dev banned you.

Good luck and make sure everyone knows your joking. After all, there is nothing less common than "common sense".

Well the ban was adjusted to 4 weeks when Puzzola admitted that he developed the aimbot himself and posted the full source code on irc (see logs above). Also when he posted the IRC logs (which contained the forbidden source code) this violated the forum rules and justified the forum ban !
