Looks kinda like the trem shotgun and the Covenant Carbine went home after a night of heavy drinking. Hey First16, I know texturing can seem daunting, but the net is bursting with simple tutorials. Just jump in, don't b afraid.

High poly models range way higher that 1000 is low poly man. High poly models range in 10,000 and up dude. But this model is like 2000
I know what I'm talking about.

I just did the hat, and textured the robot partially.
It took 1,000,000 polygons for the hat(I was going to do a full santa killer robot deal but ditched it, one of my many half-baked projects) plus the a half or so million in the robot.
Render time was like 10 minutes, not bad imho.
I was going to rig him then motion track him(minus the hat and a lot more textures) into a scene of him walking around my house, then it occurred to me that rigging was a PITA and I'd need to pirate(I will never pirate for many reasons) $4,000(Boujou) software.

This one I like a lot. Much better than the previous ones, its not inappropriately bulky for something you get for free, but still looks badass. Nice job.

This one took me an hour too make. I have just decided too make a hole bunch of guns from only concept images. If you request a gun I can make it. Just make a concept image of it.......  And I can send you it in whatever format. EX-OBJ..Blend.3ds.md3.etc.

It's not THAT difficult. Once you've unwrapped it, just make it some shade of gray/brown, make some details with other shades of gray/brown, apply a noise filter, make some edges white as if worn, and you already got something a lot better then that. I'd even say the plain gray one looks slightly better.

New Rifle suggestion I made. I took off texture of the bigger gun. I didnt like that texture.  But These are just some rifles I came up with.

   Well If I could put my own guns into the game like you say you would. I would be going crazy making loads of guns. But since It dosnt work for me on my mac. I cant really say if it will work or not. But I will Change the rifle  and replace it as one of those guns  that you see. And if it does work for you please post some images on here.  I would love too see my guns in game... And thanks... All you have too do is go into base folder and put your data.1.1.0.pk3 onto desktop the put my version in your base folder.

Then you are doing it wrong. Take a look at almost any gfx mod pk3. Also the file has to have the same filename as the file you want replaced. For example, to replace
models/weapons/blaster/blaster.md3 in data-1.1.0.pk3 you have to have:
models/weapons/blaster/blaster.md3 in z-Firstinaction-blaster-0.1.pk3.
