I have the MGR tag and I was intererupted on a game and told to play for MG. I agreed and played a match against |stk|. We got owned. There was two recruits playing and two MG Members. It was fun. I would like to participate in more matches for MG

I didn't know we did Clanwars. I don't know why... We DO do clan scrims/tournaments etc... for people who want to see what that kind of atmosphere is like without the pressures and requirements of being in a usual tournament/scrim/battle clan... I'd like to assemble an A(better players) team and a B(learning) team (noone is required to be in them, and since we won't want to ever tell anyone they NEED to be somewhere at some time we will have to have a decent ammount of subs) The thing is with the scrims we are doing right now is we don't actually practice... Dolby hasn't gotten back to me about the server yet :roll: but right now its sort of winging it.. |

Hmm I'm thinking about joining MG although I want to meet more members first. Most people know me from DeltaXi, I'm admin there. Playing Tremulous for a long time now, enjoying every minute of it  Just played some nice games with jumpHaround (Very nice guy) and thought about joining MG. Already signed up on Forum of MG. If someone wants to play a game I'm always up for a challenge. Like to know u guys better before joining, i've only seen David, Garoth and jumpHaround ingame. If anyone is having problems getting to the site, you can try this as a short term solution. Use notepad.exe and open up the hosts file, I'm almost positive it's at C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts though you may need to remove system32 from the directory path though  near the bottom of the file (it shouldn't be big) copy and paste the line below: 69.50.203.155 www.mercenariesguild.net mercenariesguild.net This will solve the problem in the short term and allow you access to the site while the dns issues are located (I think they are dns issues, I can't be sure though  ) |

Trying to get the site stuff resolved... hopefully selective DNS problems will be fixed soon enough and everyone will be able to see the site soon... all recruitment stuff has been moved to the forums.

I'd like to join :O I'm "fairly" good with aliens and humans both. I like being Basilisk and Adv Marauder as an alien and shotguns, chainguns, lasguns, flamethrower, and maybe pulserifle (learing to love it ) as a human I'm mostly on Yaknet Lair (it's ping is 1 for me!) but when that server is full, I go to Boom Boom. I know a lot of people in Yaknet Lair and you can ask them and they'll know me. I'm also talkactive, not mean to noobs, and I don't swear (a lot) (I learned my lesson, I used to swear a lot when I died and I got banned  ) Oh yea, and I can play only at weekends, but I will maybe play at weekdays when noone's at home >.> |

Alucard, try this: Start > Run copy the below line into the run dialog box: notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts copy the following line into the file that opens: 69.50.203.155 www.mercenariesguild.net mercenariesguild.net save the file then quit. You *should* be able to get to the site then BUT this will be a short term solution cause the site is likely to move soon. When it does, you will have to remove that line or mercenariesguild.net won't work for you. Hopefully, you won't have the same problem with the new site MayheM This thread is watched by a few of us, but not very closely! You should go to the mercenariesguild.net forums and ask there. You will likely find members who are interested :-D |
