It'll be interesting to see what the devs do with this. Personally, I'd love to see an in-the-mouth chomp-cam like NS2 for the dragoon.

it is the mouth cam. it adds some style to the game.
Still its unrealistic.  Its saying eyes in the mouth though... goons eating there eyes... F2

It is a game so I wonder if realism really matters. That view is silly but kinda unique(we should keep it that way by not adding it to any other game as I don't like how it covers most of the screen.) and it shows you your weapon.

Well that Is not bad.  Really cool though.  But 1.2 previews from Stannum, we have human arms, alien claws in first person. More realism.

It's not just kill messages, it's third person animations as well. Also, I'm not suggesting ripping off NS2, and if I were, it wouldn't be nearly as malicious an act as you think it would. Using a good idea isn't always a bad thing (hey, at some point someone decided guns should be on the right side of the screen. Would you fault game developers for following suit?) Besides, an in-the-mouth views isn't ripping off NS1/2 any more than we already are with having chompers on the screen (in NS1/2 the chompers aren't just the jaws; you also see arms and legs for pounce/slash animations and such).

Unique viewpoints ain't nothing new, like NS 2 mouth cam. Another example is very old Dungeon Keeper, where some creatures had their own sight (like fly had honeycomb type view, or vampires saw only black and white and in-between of these color shades.) And it was still playable on 1st person, in all creatures.
